Debbie is dedicated to the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and brings a light-hearted and fun approach to her classes and is passionate about the traditional form of practising Ashtanga yoga in the Mysore style of self- practice. It is within this format that she is able to focus on each student’s abilities and limitations, tailoring the practice to each person’s individual needs and body patterns.
Debbie is due to complete her studies as a Yoga Therapist, which gives her an understanding of injuries and the ability to work more intelligently with medical conditions/injuries and body patterns in a way that respects individual needs. She has also trained in Holistic Therapies, Thai Massage and counselling.
She has a real love of practising and teaching yoga. Debbie is firm but compassionate, and has a friendly and warm personality. You will find her both enthusiastic and encouraging, working with you to get the best out of your yoga practice.

Erin first came to yoga through the Mysore Ashtanga series 10 years ago before moving on to explore a variety of Ashtanga-based styles, Bikram and Baptiste Power Yoga. After moving from Australia to London, she completed her 200Hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Lumi Power Yoga in early 2014. Since then, Erin has been teaching dynamic power flow classes for all levels across London. Also a qualified primary school teacher, Erin launched the kids yoga classes at Lumi and since then has been bringing bringing yoga to children both in and out of the school setting. In her continued search for balance and mindfulness, Erin discovered a great passion for practicing and teaching the deeply restorative yin yoga and meditation. Her regular retreats at Shekinashram Retreat Centre in Glastonbury twice a year offer a blissful dive into both yin and yang practices for yogis of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Marjorie as a 15-year practice and interest in yoga that was ignited by a book given to her by her mother. Her interest in yoga grew when she began practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in Chicago and then Las Vegas as a means of staying in shape and having a bit of calm whilst pursuing her studies in opera. Eventually this practice turned into her life’s passion and led her to pursue her Vinyasa yoga training with Yoga London. Marjorie continues to study and learn and believes that yoga is a living practice connected to a deep history that comes alive each time we step on that mat. Yoga can lead us within on our own unique journey and bring us more benefit and joy than we ever imagined. Namaste.

Having qualified in hot yoga and the Ashtanga Primary Series as well as Rainbow Yoga, Emily enjoys teaching a variety of fun, dynamic and quieter classes. It has been a great privilege for Emily to have been a full-time-human-being-yoga-teacher since April 2013. Her classes include Yin, Restorative, moving flow yoga, Yoga For People with Disabilities, Kids Yoga and Yoga for Teenagers. Beginners are welcome at all of our classes on my timetable. From slow, gentle reflective yoga classes to fast, sweaty or acrobatic practices, Emily believes it is our approach that counts and that yoga can help us to practice feeling confident, connected and relaxed in many life situations. Therefore, an underlying theme to all of her classes is an attempt to cultivate a light-hearted and joyful attitude to ourselves, our yoga practice and others in our daily lives. Fortunate enough to have learned from some amazing people including Amy Bramble, Norman Blair, Bo Forbes, Jean Hall, Andrea Kwiatkowski, Kino MacGregor, Joey Miles, Ieva Wildlovebeamer and the team here at The Hertford Yoga Shala, Emily continues her life and yoga as best as possible. Emily is also a member of Yoga for Health and Education Trust (YHET).
