Class descriptions

Ashtanga led - This class is suitable for people who have practised some Ashtanga previously. You will be led through the Ashtanga Primary Series and can stop at any time if you are more of a beginner. 

Ashtanga yoga is a set flowing Vinyasa sequence which systematically opens the body and mind, preparing for an increasingly challenging practice. 

 

Ashtanga Mysore – The traditional and authentic way of learning Ashtanga Yoga. This is not a led class, instead, the teacher guides each student individually within a small class environment. Ashtanga Yoga is a set flowing Vinyasa sequence which systematically opens the body and mind, preparing for an increasingly challenging practice. Poses are given to students progressively when they are ready. The teacher uses verbal and skilled physical adjustments. This class is suitable for all levels.

 

Vinyasa  - A dynamic sequence of standing postures, balancing and floor work that combines breath with movement to strengthen both body and mind. These classes are suitable for intermediate and advanced yoga practitioners. 

 

Gentle Yoga – A gentle way to renew and refresh the practitioner with a series of mindful postures, restorative stretches, relaxation practices and breathwork. Suitable for beginners onwards.

 

Hatha Yoga - Hatha Yoga is a medium-paced class, including breath work, meditation and relaxation. The class is suitable for beginner and intermediate practitioners.

 

Hot Hatha - This is a medium-paced class in a hot environment suitable for the intermediate practitioner.
